Samah Ahmed’s second solo exhibition “Towards Solitude” has now opened for public viewing on 18^th March 2022. This series of abstract paintings focuses on feelings of solitude and freedom.

Samah Ahmed has been painting exclusively in blue for the last twenty years. When she is creating her paintings, she utilizes a metal plate to move the paint on the canvases. Samah has stated that the paintings were created after a morning swim and depict her deep love of the ocean.

This exhibition will be open for viewing until the 24^th of March at the National Art Gallery from 10am to 6pm and 8pm to 10pm.
